There are plenty of new events added to this year’s rally: Some of the biggest will be occurring during the 88th Loudon Classic at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway (www.nhms.com). Beginning on Friday June 17th, NHMS will feature a Short Track race where modified dirt bikes will race the speedway’s quarter-mile oval, which includes turns one and two of the NASCAR track. During the Classic from June 17-19th, fans can witness the TTXGP Series, sanctioned by the AMA. These completely “Green” motorcycles race with speeds upward of 173mph! Be sure to also check out the thrilling MOTARD event on the 1.6 mile asphalt course with several flying jumps including riding through gravel and grass! Another addition at NHMS is the AMSOIL Nelcar Legends Tour. Powered by a motorcycle engine, a Legend Car is a race car resembling the legendary American Automobile of the 1930’s and 1940’s. So much to see and do – don’t miss the 88th Loudon Classic at NHMS! Join us for all the action on the NHMRO (www.nhmro.org) Ron Meade Toy Run on Saturday June 18th departing from Interlakes High School at 10AM. Bring a toy and get a discount for the races at NHMS! More lodging, Rally patrons, and events are added to the Official Website daily! The Laconia Roadhouse band schedule has been released and is available on the official Website. Just announced: Jackyl Plays Live! As seen on Full Throttle Saloon Tru Reality at Laconia Harley-Davidson at 6pm on Saturday June 11th. Great music can be found all over Weirs Beach including bands all day and night at the Naswa Resort, Laconia HD, the Laconia Roadhouse, the Winnipesaukee Marketplace and Patio Garden Restaurant. Many other Rally patrons throughout the State of NH also offer music, contests, bike shows and more – be sure to check the schedule of events! 2011 also brings a new location for the HD Road Tour: Check out the Harley Davidson Road Tour at the Weirs Beach Lobster Pound and their newest demos at Hart’s Turkey Farm in Meredith. We know all motorcyclists look for ways to give back to those who need a helping hand. After Motorcycle Week settles down, there are still plenty of beautiful riding days in NH as well as many poker rides and guided tours that help raise money for local charities. In addition to those, we’d like to invite you all to the 26th Annual Concerts for the Cause Blues Summit with the Robert Cray Band June 22nd at 7pm at the Capital Center for the Arts. For more information on this concert, be sure to check out: http://www.cfsnh.org/.
